Yanmin Zhou is currently an associate professor and doctoral supervisor in the School of Nuclear Science and Technology, Harbin Engineering University. At present, he is the deputy director of the Institute of Nuclear Power Units, the secretary of the Heilongjiang Provincial Key Laboratory of Nuclear Power Plant Performance and Equipment, the director of the Nuclear Instrumentation and Control Technology Branch of the Chinese Instrument and Control Society, the young editorial board member of the journal "Nuclear Analysis", "Annals of Nuclear Energy", "Nuclear Engineering and Design", "Progress in Nuclear Energy", " He is a reviewer of the International Journal of Heat and Mass Transfer, a member of the Chinese Nuclear Society, and a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME).He is mainly engaged in basic research on reactor thermal hydraulics, reactor serious accident mitigation, radioactive source control technology and source behavior. As the project leader, he has presided over several projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National Key R&D Program, the Central University Fund, and several horizontal projects of civilian products. He has published more than 30 papers in academic journals and conferences at home and abroad, accepted more than 40 invention patents, and registered 3 software copyrights. He is currently teaching undergraduate courses such as "Nuclear Reactor Structure and Materials", "Two-Phase Flow", "English for Nuclear Engineering and Nuclear Technology", and "Nuclear Power Equipment Course Design - Evaporator".
