Profile

Obtained his BSc Degree of Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering, worked as a resarch asistant at CENTEC, Instituto Superior Técnico, Lisbon, Portugal, and then obtained the Master degree in 2011 and PhD degree in 2015. He has been carrying out teaching and research activities in the area of Mechanics of ship and offshore structures, Data driven models for ships and offshore structures, Ship maneuverability and control, and Collision avoidance. He has published more than 40 research papers in journals and international conferences in the area of naval architecture and ocean engineering, involved in the organisation or academic committees of interantional conferences (including OMAE, MARTECH, MARSTRCT etc).
