Profile

Zhang Bowen, male, born in 1992, doctor of engineering, lecturer, pre-appointed associate professor. In 2014, I obtained Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Engineering and Nuclear Technology from Harbin Engineering University. That same year, I was recommended to college of Nuclear Science and Technology in Harbin Engineering University. I received Master of Engineering degree in 2016 and Doctor of Engineering degree in 2020. I have been affiliated with the university since December 2020.

I have dedicated a significant portion of my career to research in the fields of nuclear power plant operation, simulation, and intelligent autonomous control. I possess in-depth theoretical knowledge in areas such as multi-objective optimization of nuclear power plant operation schemes and control strategies, automatic reactor start-up, autonomous decision-making, collaborative control, intelligent control algorithms, and the detection of sensor anomalies and measurement value reconstruction.

At present, as the project leader, I have presided project of a specific Ministry, project of China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC) Talent Morning Star program, project of equipment development, project of civil product. As the technical leader, I have participated in 10 national key R&D programs, basic research projects, and other projects of civil products. As a main contributor, I have completed over 10 projects and received a second-class award for scientific and technological progress at the provincial or ministerial level. My academic contributions include 18 published papers, more than 20 patents, and 7 software copyrights.

I am responsible for teaching the undergraduate core course titled "Nuclear Engineering Detection, Control, and Protection", and the postgraduate course "Energy Power System Modeling and Simulation Based on Modelica". I have also authored the translation of the book "Nuclear Reactor Dynamics and Control". I supervise 3 master's students directly, co-supervise 3 doctoral students and 8 master's students.
