Profile

Yao Xiong Liang, Professor of Harbin Engineering University, Professor. We have trained 12 master's students, 2 doctoral students, 1 postdoctoral researcher, and published more than 40 academic papers. In 1983 he received a bachelor's degree from Zhenjiang Shipbuilding Institute, in 1989 he received a master's degree in Harbin Engineering University Engineering, in 1992 he received a doctor's degree in Harbin Engineering University Engineering, and in 1994 he graduated from Harbin University of Architecture as a postdoctoral fellow in mechanics, he was professor in 1998.

Research Fields

Structural analysis and control, marine engineering fluid mechanics. Explosion and impact dynamics; structural vibration and noise control; composite materials for naval applications

Projects

The main research directions are damage research, vibration and noise control research, composite stealth composite structure research. In the past ten years, he has undertaken more than 150 key projects, such as National Natural Science Foundation projects and Support Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology。

Academic Communication

After 2005, I pay attention to the training of young people and the formation of scientific research and teaching team. The research team has begun to take shape. Among them, 3 candidates were sent abroad to study for doctorate, respectively, the United Kingdom, Russia, Japan's doctorate. One person visited Gdansk Polytechnic University in Poland. 1 in collaboration with the University of London. The team members are supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China Outstanding Young People, the Central Organization Department's Outstanding Young Talent Support Program (announced) and the new century outstanding talents. The team led by Yao Xiong Liang has worked with the University of London in the United Kingdom, the National University of Marine Technology in St. Petersburg, Russia, osaka University in Japan began a fundamental collaborative research and training program on bubble dynamics and post-ultimate strength of Hull girder structures.
