Profile

YANG Xu, male, holds a Ph.D. in Management. He is a professor and doctoral supervisor at the School of Economics and Management, Harbin Engineering University. His research focuses on strategic management and technological innovation. He is a member of the research team for Technology Management and Corporate Growth.
He has led and participated in more than 20 projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation, National Social Science Foundation, National Soft Science Foundation, Ph.D. Fund, Heilongjiang Provincial Natural Science Foundation, and Heilongjiang Provincial Social Science Foundation. In recent years, he has published over 30 academic papers in domestic high-level academic journals and international academic conferences (including journals indexed by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, EI, CSSCI, ISTP, etc.). Additionally, he has authored one monograph and co-authored three books.
YANG Xu has received two second prizes for scientific and technological progress in Heilongjiang Province and two second prizes for social science achievements in Heilongjiang Province. He has also been recognized as an outstanding lecturer three times.
In terms of teaching responsibilities, YANG Xu is involved in undergraduate, graduate, EMBA, and MBA education, covering courses such as Strategic Management, Enterprise Investment and Decision-Making, and Introduction to Business Administration. He is also responsible for mentoring doctoral students, master's students (including MBA, EMBA), international students, and undergraduate students.
Furthermore, he holds various academic organizational positions, including Executive Director of the Heilongjiang Management Science Society, Executive Director of the Heilongjiang Intellectual Property Research Association, and Executive Director of the Heilongjiang Coal Economic Management Association.
