Profile

Tang Bin, Associate professor, master tutor, computer doctor, postdoctoral fellow in computational fluid Mechanics, expert in scientific computing software development system, Harbin Engineering University. He is mainly engaged in independent industrial simulation software integration platform technology research, large-scale scientific computing research and development system, open source industrial simulation software integration platform research. He has published more than 20 SCI/EI papers and 7 invention patents. He has presided over more than 20 research projects, including 3 national projects, and participated in 12 national independent industrial software projects such as the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Science and Technology, and the Bureau of Science and Industry. He has served as a member of the Industry-University Research Committee of the Chinese Society of Mechanics, a director of the Computer Integrated Manufacturing System Council, an editorial expert of the Industrial Software Hundred Questions of the China Industrial Technology Software Industry Alliance, a special editor of the Journal of Software, a member of the professional committee of the China Industrial Software Industry Development Alliance, and a chief scientist of the OpenCAE project of the Digital Twin Alliance. He has been advocating the ecological construction of open source industrial software in China, participated in the "OpenCAX Open Source Industrial Software Industry Committee", and participated in the preparation of the national standard plan "Industrial Software Classification and Grading Evaluation". Participated in the preparation of CIDI Institute Industrial Internet Series of White papers No. 4 "Industrial Internet Platform + Digital Simulation" Development White Paper, shipbuilding industry solutions, China Intelligent Manufacturing System Solutions Market Research Report (2021), etc. Led the team to create the open source industrial simulation software integration platform -FastCAE, committed to helping domestic industrial simulation software rapid productization, to solve the problem of being jammed by foreign countries in this field, has been applied to shipbuilding, automotive, aerospace, nuclear energy, machinery, thermal energy and multi-field coupling and other industries and fields, serving more than 250 cases of domestic CAE software. Covering more than 40 units such as universities, research institutes and enterprises. It serves major national projects such as numerical water pool, numerical wind tunnel, numerical simulation of diesel engine and digital nuclear reactor, generating benefits of tens of millions of yuan.
