秦洪德

Hongde Qin is a professor and PhD supervisor of the College of Shipbuilding Engineering of Harbin Engineering University. He was awarded the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars for his achievements in the area of underwater techniques. He is an IEEE Senior member, serving as the associate editor of some SCI journals such as JMSA, Science Progress, and SVIP. His research focuses on the tasks of underwater inspection of marine structures, water emergency search and rescue, fine observation and detection of the seabed, and autonomous operations. He has successfully developed multiple types of "Xinghai" series intelligent marine robot prototypes, providing intelligent unmanned equipment and efficient observation and detection means for marine observation and underwater operations.
