In September 2007, he was exceptionally promoted to professor, and in March 2005, he received a doctor's degree in engineering.
He is a postdoctoral fellow of Computer Science and Technology Mobile Station of Harbin Institute of Technology.
From October 2003 to September 2004, he was a Visiting scholar at the University of California, Davis.
