Yaorui Li is currently an associate professor at College of Nuclear Science and Technology in Harbin Engineering University.Dr. Li is engaged in the removal of radionuclides from liquid-phase and gas-phase media, the synthesis of functionalized materials, and the solidification of radioactive wastes, etc. He graduated from Jilin University in June 2016 with a Ph.D. degree, and conducted postdoctoral research in the State Key Laboratory of Inorganic Synthesis and Preparative Chemistry of Jilin University and the Key Laboratory of Radiology and Radiation Protection of Soochow University between July 2016 and November 2018, respectively. He has presided over one project of National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC), one project of "Young Talent" of China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC), two projects of Basic Research Funds for Central Universities, and one project of State Key Experimental Open Subject. He has participated in several projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has published more than ten SCI-recorded academic papers as the first or corresponding author, including one ESI highly cited paper, one hot paper in journals, and applied for two patents. He has taught undergraduate course "Nuclear Energy and Environment", postgraduate course "Nuclear Fuel Cycle" and international course "Radioactive Waste Treatment and Disposal in Nuclear Power Plants".
