Li Xinfei, Associate Researcher, Ph.D. in Control Science and Engineering ,postdoctoral degree in Ship and Ocean Engineering, visiting scholar at the University of Southampton, UK.In 2006, he joined the Tianjin Navigation Instrument Research Institute, where he was responsible for the research and development of ship navigation equipment. In 2012, he joined Harbin Engineering University, focusing on research in ship motion control system modeling and simulation technology, as well as ocean robot path guidance and tracking control technology. His research achievements have been applied in the development of ship dynamic positioning simulators, ship automatic steering simulators, hovercraft auxiliary steering control systems, and underwater robots for intelligent fishing in marine ranches. These technologies have also been demonstrated and used in the first "Marine Engineering Digital Technology Center" and the first "Polar Air Cushion Icebreaking/Transportation Platform" in China. He has published over 30 papers in his main research areas, including 5 papers in SCI and over 20 papers in EI. He has received 3 first prizes and 1 second prize of the provincial and ministerial level for science and technology progress awards. He has obtained more than 20 national invention patents, 5 sossftware copyrights, and published 1 monograph.

The Ship and Ocean Structure Design and Manufacturing program, as well as the Civil Engineering and Water Conservancy program, have 9 master's students and 1 doctoral student currently enrolled. We admit 3 master's students every year. Our graduate training program emphasizes interdisciplinary integration, combining ship hydrodynamics, kinematic models, guidance tracking, control algorithms, and software programming to address key technical challenges in the development of marine robots, simulation-based control simulators, and polar air-cushion assisted control systems. We aim to meet the practical needs of society and industry.
Upon graduation, the majority of our students find employment in well-known institutions such as China Shipbuilding Corporation, China Electronics Corporation, aviation and aerospace industries, universities, and the Chinese Academy of Sciences. This program offers a promising future as it provides students with a wide range of knowledge and skills through a cross-disciplinary approach.
In summary, the Ship and Ocean Structure Design and Manufacturing program, as well as the Civil Engineering and Water Conservancy program, offer attractive opportunities for students. It equips them with the necessary expertise to tackle key technical challenges in various fields. We wish you great success in your academic research and future career endeavors!
