Profile
Chen Hao is currently a Professor at College of Nuclear Science and Technology in Harbin Engineering University. Dr. Hao completed his Ph.D. degree in Nuclear Science and Technology from the Institute of Nuclear Energy and New Energy Technology of Tsinghua University in 2014. He has been long engaged in research in the high-fidelity neutron transport calculation, acceleration theory , uncertainty analysis and code develpoment. He teaches 4 undergraduate and graduate courses, such as "Nuclear Reactor Physics" for undergraduates, "Advanced Reactor Physics" for doctoral students and international students.
Dr. Hao has been selected as the Chief Scientific Investigator of the International CRP of Uncertainty Analysis of High-temperature Gas Cooled Reactors at International Atomic Energy Agency(IAEA), the Young Elite Scientists Sponsorship Program by China Association for Science and Technology(CAST).
He has authored/co-authored more than 60 SCI/ EI papers, and has authorized and published more than 20 patents and software copyrights. He is currently the PI of several projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation, National Key R&D Program, International Atomic Energy Agency International Joint Research projects, etc.
