GAO Puzhen is a professor of Nuclear Engineering. She is a supervisor of PhD and master students. She teaches courses of nuclear reactor thermal-hydraulics, etc.
She has 25 years expertise in nuclear power research and has interests in the reactor thermal hydraulics, natural circulation and passive safety system. She has published more than 150 papers in journals or at conferences.
GAO Puzhen is Vice-dean of the College of Nuclear Science and Technology, Harbin Engineering University (HEU). She is in charge of the teaching management of undergraduates, postgraduates and international students, also in charge of the international exchange of the College. She also serves as a leader of the program of Atomic Energy Scholarship of China aimed at cultivating high-level specialized technical and management personnel in emerging nuclear power countries.
