个人简介

Suleman Mazhar教授在日本东京大学获得博士学位，并在乔治敦大学（华盛顿特区）获得博士后学位。他曾在巴基斯坦旁遮普省GIK研究所和信息技术大学担任教员约10年，担任智能生命仿生模拟和建模实验室（BiSMiL实验室）主任。他目前是哈尔滨工程大学的教授，教授与深度/机器学习和信号处理相关的课程。

他在ICT（信息与通信技术）领域为人类发展和环境保护进行研究，他的实验室项目由中国、巴基斯坦和DAAD（德国）资助。他的研究专长是机器学习和信号/图像处理领域。

他为利用声学和图像处理技术监测水生污染和环境以及保护海洋哺乳动物的研究项目提供建议。

Funded positions are available in projects related to machine learning, signal processing and environmental protection at research on-going research projects in Pakistan, China and Germany. Undergraduates, masters and doctoral students interested in machine learning, robotics, deep learning, communications and signal processing research are welcome to contact. An important component of our lab's research is focused on STEM activities for kids and we are looking for motivated K-12 students, undergraduate and graduates to join in those activities.

Research Interests

Our research interests include application of bio-inspired modeling and machine learning algorithms to everyday problems, structured in signal processing framework and we believe in identifying “Indigenous solutions for local problems: Using Bio-inspired Innovation & ICT“.
